A maternity photoshoot can be hard to schedule because you’re already planning what comes after the pregnancy, right? Hopefully I can help and make your session easier on you. Plus, you’ll get some amazing photos from it.

Bucket List Location

Do you have a spot on your bucket list that you’ve always wanted to travel to? We all do! Take this as an opportunity to have a babymoon, and a maternity photoshoot at the same time. What a memorable time that would be for everyone!

Mountains

Go big or go home. Some expecting moms want their belly to shine up against a cool mountain backdrop and I can’t blame them. I know of some great locations that will blow your mind when considering a maternity photoshoot. Luckily, I know of some spectacular spots with vast views that are right outside of Denver.

Local Park

This photo doesn’t appear to be at a local park, but it sure is! If I’m being “confined” to a local park for weather purposes, travel limitations, or other reasons, then you can bet I’m using all of my creativity tools I have. I make sure to look around for any elements we can use.

Home

Doing a maternity photoshoot in your home is so cool! It’s where you feel most comfortable, so you will look the most comfortable. I’ve had moms do a very, cute casual shoot in their bed and living room. We’ve used outdoor options in their backyard and have hungout in their kitchen while baking cookies. Just because you’re doing a session in your home, doesn’t mean your shoot has to be casual either. Dresses are welcome! All we need is some good light, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Studio

Studio maternity photoshoots are such a great option. There are tons of different studios we can use that all offer a different vibe. Some can be staged like a bedroom, while others just have yummy light that shouldn’t be passed up. Studios are also great spots to use for your session if there’s inclement weather.
