While it might feel imperative to get a date on the calendar right now, we know babies come on their own time. Once the baby is born, we will be in touch. There's no right or wrong time to photograph your newborn. Picking our date might depend on your recovery, the location we select and your schedule. Babies can often be photographed 10-14 days after they are born up to several weeks old.
It's important to at least book a date in the summer of your senior year around June or July. You don't need to have your session completed at that time, but it's important to reserve a date early on. Some seniors love to do their sessions at the beginning of the year, while others like to wait for the weather to change a little. There's no right or wrong time!
I primarily photograph family sessions in the evening roughly one hour before sunset all throughout the year. The exact start time will vary depending on the exact location we select, but be prepared for an evening session.

Unfortunately, that's just not enough time to allow the baby (and you) to adjust to what we will want to photograph. We want to allow the baby time to feed if necessary, change wardrobes, diapers, all the good stuff!
CAN I DO A MINI NEWBORN SESSION
I only allow up to four family members during a Mini Session. Anymore than that will require more time!
How Many People CAn FIT IN A MINI?
Id plan on four weeks until everything is finalized. I love to check, and double check that everything is to my satisfaction and that you're going to love what you see.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS?
I got you! Don't let it stress you out. First, we will start with your favorite colors, what colors compliment your home, the colors of our location and then go from there.
