About to blow you away with an incredible maternity session during the craziest time known to man. Well, maybe not known to man. But known to me!
Lin got in touch with me for some maternity photos like many expecting mother’s do. Everything was booked, planned and going swell just like it was across the world. Little did she know that she would have important parts of her pregnancy swept out from under her.
When Covid-19 first arrived in the States, I didn’t consider how it would effect everything. EV-ER-Y-THING.
Lin’s maternity session was constantly changing because new information was constantly being published, orders were changing, and there was so much unknown. We didn’t know if we’d be able to complete her session safely and legally.
This will not be taken away!
She had expressed to me how sad she was to have so much taken away from her. You see, with the restrictions of limited people in a gathering, her baby shower was cancelled. The rules of her birthing room is also something that didn’t cross my mind when this all started, but is so jacked up! Just her and her husband allowed. No family or friends. Awful huh?
Well, guess what! The minute we found out that orders were being lifted, we hightailed it to the where the views are epic and the light is yummy. She had a very specific location picked out and I’d say the views delivered that day! I was nervous about the harsh lighting, but this is why you hire a professional. A little adjustments along the way made for some incredible shots.
She looked so cute in her seafoam green fitted dress that made her belly pop. Her husband Alex looked like he came straight out of a men’s fashion magazine and knew exactly how to work the camera. Literally the easiest couple ever.
