It was time for the Croteaus annual photos so we headed north for their summer family session!
We originally had planned to do the pink blossom trees for their session, but with the wonky spring weather Denver had, they didn’t bloom this year! Sad, huh?! And then, throw in Covid-19 and we all were wondering when we’d be able to shoot this session.
Well, there’s always light in the end. And we found it at this incredible lake. The weather was perfect! We were able to see the snow capped mountains, blue skies, waterfalls, and jumping fish all within thirty minutes. I loved being able to venture around this new location! It has some pretty cool areas that I know you’ll all love.
The boys are growing up so fast, I can’t even believe it. In my eyes, Alex should still be a swaddled newborn. Crazy! Theo (love that name) was such a little dare devil with the water and was off on his own exploring.
Diane didn’t need any help picking out the most perfect dress for their photos. I always have a lot of moms ask me, “Should I wear a dress?”. You don’t have to obviously. But, I can tell that moms love doing it. I can tell they feel special, dressed up, and their confidence absolutely radiates through their images.
I’m so blessed to photograph this loyal family. They return faithfully every year and trust me to document their growing kiddos. Where will we head for next year’s summer family session, guys?
