I’ve known Savannah literally forever. Brownies, girl scouts, high school, motherhood- forever! Savannah reached out to me for a maternity and family session since I was looking for a model to use for a new dress. Within a couple of days, she was on my books and we were out shooting.
With her whole family in tow, we had the best location for her maternity and family session. We photographed her alone in the water and with some golden wheat fields while her kiddos played at a near by park. This allowed us to focus on her and her new baby girl that will be joining us soon!
The dress worked perfect! I was able to play around with some colors in Photoshop, too. What do you think? What’s your favorite color? I think I’m loving the mint green.
By now it was time for her added mini family session with Eli and Aspen. Last time I saw her children, I think Eli was three? Is that right? Gosh- it’s been too long. All I know is that Aspen was just learning how to sit up, and now during this session, she was showing me how she does the splits! Wow!
Combing a maternity and family session together is a no-brainer. This gives time for mom to be the center of attention with her growing belly, but then adding in the other family members at the end is so great. I find that the other family members love it, too, because then they don’t have to be in front of the camera as long- haha!
When you’re ready to pop, lets get your maternity and family session on the books.https://yourmodernstory.com/contact If you are struggling to find a flattering dress to wear, this one is available to borrow! You’ll love it!
