I live in Thornton, so Family Photos in Thornton are at the top of the list for my favorite locations! It’s getting to be crowded, yes, but there still are several different areas that make for some wonderful spots for your next session.
I went to high school with Julie so we’ve stayed in touch through Facebook. She messaged me saying that she’s been following my work and wanted to go ahead and schedule a Short Story Session. We both figured this would be perfect since super young kiddos aren’t too interested in smiling after twenty minutes. I was so excited leading up to Julie’s family session because I knew they would look amazing and we had great weather. Great weather during the summer evenings are hit or miss, right?
Well, I got a call from Julie the morning of her session. She was needing to cancel because she was hit by a car! Crazy, right?! I felt so horrible for her! I have a lot of people cancel sessions for various reasons, but this was the ultimate reason! Ouch! My body just hurts thinking about being hit by a car. I’m happy to report that she is healed up and healthy. Phew!
Second chance, Here we come!
A couple months later, we got to try again! The weather for their Thornton family photos was just as fantastic and we were right- the Short Story session fit her family needs perfectly. They all wore clothes that compliment each other’s navy attire. Kiddos had to have their stuffed animals in a couple of shots so that was priority while the youngest was still happy.
I couldn’t believe how many incredible images we ended up with in such a short time. Julie and her husband are now able to decorate their walls with their growing children, and I hope to see them in the future. Their kids are too cute to only see once!
