Being a Colorado family photographer during the fall is actual perfection. It’s still pretty warm, the colors are wild, and the light is so good. Delivering a gallery full of images that you’ll love while sticking close to the Denver metro area is easy to do with me as your photographer.
I got to play around with the Murchie family again this year! We haven’t done their family photos in two years. Juila was just a wee baby and Charles was an even smaller toddler during our first session. This year, we were in the middle of gorgeous Colorado fall foliage which gave us some incredible images. I know of some pretty cute corners in Colorado that are just perfect for fall family photos.
A short, quick mini session was just what this family needed in order to get some sweet captures. Often time we have unrealistic expectations of our young kiddos. While we would love them to last through an entire hour long session, sometimes this just won’t happen. Instead, if we can keep kiddos happy for a short mini session, you’re likely to end up with more images during their short attention span. These parents were so smart to only book a little mini session and they were on their way to get ice cream after twenty minutes. When kids are a tad older than toddlers, a full hour long session is the way to go! If you need help deciding which session is best for your family- lets chat!
