Senior Photos at CU Boulder

Doing senior photos at CU Boulder will always end up being some of my most favorite images of the year. I look forward to heading to this location every single time because it’s simply beautiful. I offer a ton of locations for senior portraits and family sessions, but this one will always be a top recommendation.

The most popular part of the campus that stands out to most seniors that are interested in this spot is the amazing bridge. If you select this location we will definitely spend a chunk of time hanging out on this bridge. It’s safe to stand, sit, kneel and lay on! It always doesn’t have a bad angle. We can shoot at various ways and every shot will turn out amazing. You’ll likely see some giant fish and cute little turtles if you look over the bridge long enough.

Depending on the time of year we shoot here, you might be able to get some amazing floral blooms in your shots! Look how amazing some of these flowers are. They go fast and aren’t guaranteed to make an appearance at your session, but they are a top favorite!

The next nook I love to use is just a tiny pocket of landscape that I am obsessed with. It gives a “fairytale” vibe to it and all seniors, guys and gals, love how the sun beams through the trees.

If we find different textured walls, you can bet your booty we are going to use them! White barn-like doors, red brick buildings, various rails- yest!

Unfortunately, the spiral stair case that we all love and adore is no longer there. They’ve been renovating Old Main for quite a while now and has been under construction. It doesn’t appear those amazing stairs will make a comeback. Truly devastating if that’s the case! I’m excited to see the renovations that took place as it’s supposed to reopen soon!

Doing senior photos at CU Boulder can be a little tricky if we decide to have our session after school has begun. It’s absolutely possible, but we will have to work around a lot of college students riding their bikes and going to and from classes. Not a huge deal, but some seniors prefer to have more of a secluded session.

Parking:This can be a little tricky but I will send you a location pin of exactly where to park. Depending on the day and time, you will need to pay for parking through an app.

Changing Room: There are no bathrooms to use, but I will have my pop up changing room for you to swap outfits!
