I’ve been Bethany’s indoor Colorado family photographer ever since I her three year old’s newborn session. They were one of my very first families to “practice” lifestyle photos on. I remember thinking, “what the heck am I going to do if they ask me to hold a baby?” Well, they never did, so phew! Kidding- I’ll hold a newborn anytime.
Fast forward a hot minute or two, and her twins popped in the studio for Chiristmas minis. Natalie had the sweetest little piggy tails ever and I made sure to photograph the details of them. At that time, they didn’t mind having their photos taken and were easily bribed with ice cream after the session if they sat still.
Now, the twins are three. I miss that age so much! Photos were not a priority of theirs the day we did their family session and that was a-okay with me. Little John had other things in mind such as a tickle fest and running in circles as fast as he could. The tickling photos ended up being some of my favorites. Natalie showed up with pigtail buns and I almost died. So cute!
The reason why I was able to meet up with Bethany and her family this year was because of this little man. Mr. Bennett joined their family earthside looking cute as ever. He looked so dang sweet just hanging out on the bed, dreaming what it will be like to run around with his siblings in the very near future. Another favorite photo of mine are these ones of Bethany and her daughter. There’s nothing like it. Nothing. Moms- get in the frame!
Bethany did such a great job matching her entire family in navy blue clothes that fit the new navy couch just perfectly. If you’re ever in need of styling your family members, Jane is my go-to.
