Liam’s session is probably my favorite session of all time. My son! Gosh, I just love him and especially love his senior photos. They turned out amazing! We decided to not limit his senior photos to one location, so we headed out to Denver and Boulder on two separate days for his senior photos.
During our session with mountain backdrops, he chose to wear an outfit that fit his every day lifestyle which was cargo pants and a distressed tan shirt. Simple and stands the test of time. These colors blended into the nature-scape seamlessly which allowed all of the attention to be on him as the subject rather than distracting clothes. We were blessed with amazing weather and skies for this session!
One our second session date, we popped downtown to grab some great urban photos complete with industrial architecture and rooftop shots. Liam is a simple guy so wore the same type of outfit as his Boulder session, but in a different color. I love that he was able to add a plaid shirt on top of the t-shirt to add a little variety.
Liam has decided to make the selfless decision to enlist in the United States Navy, and I’ve never been so proud of him. I could write an entire blog post devoted to him (and I’m sure I will at some point), but I’m sure I’ll start crying heavily because I just love him so much.

Jude’s senior session was close to home in Thornton, but one of my favorite locations ever. No one would ever think this amazing spot is within a neighborhood!
My favorite part of Jude’s session was at the very end and we had some great clouds behind him as he sat on a lowered tree stump hanging over water. I love that his wardrobe was true to his everyday style but still fit perfectly for senior yearbook photos. Jeans, plaids, hoodies, and plain solid tops will always work.
Hanging out near the bridge, against the fence line, and mixed in with some cool tree is what this location is all about.

Addyson had two photo sessions; one downtown for an urban vibe and another out in nature with a mountain backdrop. During our session in Boulder, there were wildfires leading up to her shoot date. While it is sad to consider what a wildfire entails, the skies turn into painted canvases. Super pretty blues, pinks, purples, all mixed with cool clouds is surely a great backdrop for senior photos. Addyson had some great timeless wardrobe items that will make her photos still look amazing in twenty years- no wardrobe regrets over here! Simple jeans with a plain top, and cute little dresses are always a must.
For her downtown session, we stayed near the Millennium Bridge which is always a favorite. This allows for some really cool metal architecture to be used, tall high-rise buildings in the background, and some industrial type photos. For these photos, Addyson chose a great brown top with some jeans. Don’t over think your outfits when it comes to an urban setting.
Addyson will be starting her future in Cosmetology, and I am super proud of her!

I’m looking forward to being your Horizon High School Senior Photographer Seriously. I have no doubt that we can make some incredible photos for you to remember. Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram because I post a lot of inspo photos on there! Let’s talk about your vision and get a date on the calendar!
