The Bayani family is very near and dear to me. I’m sure you’ve all seen their past fall family photos and have witnessed their sons sprout many many inches. The boys have gotten so tall- it’s crazy! I remember taking family photos several years ago and their youngest still had the fuzziest newborn hair. It’s really incredible how time flies, right?
This year, we headed to Boulder to capture the red sumac leaves on fire. I think we got them just at the right time because, wow, they looked amazing. We were blessed with some other amazing fall colors that you’d never see at that location other than the week we were there.
Kirsten is one of the best, if not THE best, at sending out annual holiday cards. She chooses the best images of her family on the front of the card. But in all honesty- the back of the card is my favorite. She makes sure to include the reality of family photos. Bloopers!
This year’s blooper images were intense! Their youngest son accidently stepped on a cactus. Well, those little hairs that make their way into the skin create a pain that I don’t wish upon anyone. Poor little guy was miserable. When dad tried to remove the stickers, Parker let out a kick in pain to where it matters most. That’s right, folks. Got dad right “there”. All. On. Camera.
I’ve decided to partner with Basic Invite this year specifically for their holiday cards. They have a lot of great products, but the custom holiday cards are what drew me in. If you are like me and absolutely love clean and simple designs, then these are for you. I can just imagine how amazing your recent family photos will look on these! I think it’s pretty cool that they offer different colored envelopes, too! I’ve never been able to do that with Christmas cards online. They’re currently offering 15% off with the code 15FF51 so snag yours now. See…look how cute they are.
Can you all do me a favor? Never stop sending me your holiday cards. It leaves me feeling so incredibly grateful for all of the families that I had the privilege of working with this year. And…I love to rub it in my husband’s face that my clients love me way more than his love him. Haha! I’ll take a photo of what I mean this season- poor man gets no holiday card love!
If you haven’t scheduled your fall family photos to be sent out on your very own holiday invitations...do it now! Like, click-here-right-now-you’re-running-out-of-time kind of now.
