I take my job as a Denver newborn photographer very serious. This is the time in our little babies lives that go by the fastest so I want to make sure I grab every detail possible.
What’s important to document during your in home newborn session? Well let me tell you.
Ahhh! All the newborn hair. Sometimes it’s a lot-sometimes not so much. I love getting the little baby swirl while mom or dad is cradling their head.
They sleep a lot now, but one day in the near future, you’ll be begging them to go back to sleep. I might be a Denver newborn photographer, but I’m also a mom and I know how this goes. “Go to sleep, child!”
Darn right! We earned this shot. Moms hardly ever get in the frame. We’re always the ones to take the photos, rather then be in them. So, this is your time moma!
Because this shot always makes the momma heart swoon.
Can you believe in just a few short years, your baby will be a giant and will no longer fit on that infant mattress? This shot really gives you a great memory of how small they really were in that big ol’ crib.
This is where most new moms and dads spend time with their baby, so why not be honest about it and photograph it?
We work hard on those nurseries! Lets show it off, sister!
If there are siblings that are doting over their new little baby sis, that’s important to show! If they aren’t too fond of the new one stealing the attention, that’s important to show!
Please don’t pass up this opportunity to photographer your newborn. I know it can be an investment, and I know that you might not want your photos taken right after giving birth. But you WILL regret NOT having them as your baby is starting kindergarten, is too cool to hold your hand at school, and when they graduate. The time is now.
