Denver Christmas Studio Mini Sessions were a total success this year! More than any year I’ve ever done them and that’s all because of my sweet families.

My client families are the best!

You guys help share the info and spread the word. No matter what, you guys are always there for me when I need it most. Spots are filled, deposits are paid, contracts are signed, and you all make my life so dang good!

The Christmas Mini Sessions were at my little studio that I like to rent out in Longmont, CO. The studio owner is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. I feel like we’re friends, and she probably doesn’t even know it. Ha! Her attention to detail when designing sets is what I love most. She does her own designs from inspiration photos that she loves. I’ve been so lucky to shoot at every single set she’s ever had.

Studio Sets for 2020

The set this year was a neutral colors which made my heart so happy. White’s, creams, grays, tans. This also makes it so easy for families to kind of wear whatever color scheme they want. I had some families wear navy mixed with yellow, black with red, and pink with green. All very different, but all worked one hundred and ten percent of the time.

In the studio, there were basically two sets that I used. One was the white fireplace with tree, but then right behind me, I set up an egg chair with some vases and such that the owner already had put there. Such an easy and versatile shift that all of my families loved.

And then…there’s outside. So, a THIRD option. All of my families loved the idea of not being tied down to one certain look to choose from. While we might not have been able to spend a ton of time outside, I made sure to at at least get a couple of shots from each session.

Holiday Card Contest

I hosted my first Holiday Card Contest this year, too. Anyone could participate as I didn’t want to exclude a single sole. All that was required was to send me a holiday card. Easy as that. I am doing a drawing at the end of the month from all received cards and giving away cash prizes. If I picked their card and it had a photo on it that I took, I am giving away $100. If it doesn’t have a photo from me, they are still getting cash! Just not as much 😉
