Lifestyle Newborn Photos in Your Cherry Hills Village Home

1.) On Your Front Porch

Photographing your family on your front porch and around your yard will create some fun and memorable images. A lot of homes located in the Cherry Hills Village area have stunning front yards that bring an opportunity for fun photos. I love being able to take photos of one parent cuddling their newborn on the porch while looking out at the other parent playing with their toddler. Front yard photos are so beautiful in the summer months at golden hour- the sun bouncing over the room of the house while plants and flowers offer pops of color.

2.) In The Nursery

You’ve worked hard on styling and decorating the most perfect room for your baby to grow up in. It probably has the best paint color, adorable wall decor, tall drapery, and gorgeous window light pouring in. This is such a great area to spend a bulk of our session. Think of all of the different little spots that you’ve already cuddled your baby in this room or where you’ve stared at them sleeping. I plan on photographing every inch of this thought out space!

The nursery is a great space to focus a lot on just the baby. This is where I spend a lot of time photographing details-hands, feet, and ears.

3.) In the Master Bedroom

For a good chunk of time while you baby is a newborn, you’re likely going to spend a solid amount of time in your very own comfy bed. Photos of you and your spouse cuddling your baby on the edge of the bed, while your toddler watches over you has probably happened, so it’s important that those little moments are documented.

4.) In the Living Room

This is where your baby is going to grow up creating a lot of memories-big and small. You should photograph your baby in this space-big and small. It’s only a matter of time before your baby will soon turn into an infant, and then a toddler, and then a full grown child. The living room will always remain the same, but how your little baby uses this room will change quickly. Photos of your newborn wrapped in your arms here will preserve the very short time you were able to do use your living room in this capacity.

5.) On the Stairs

Soothing and nurturing your newborn on the stairs or in the hallway happens more than we think, huh? We tend to calm them wherever even if that means the most obscure places. The unique places like this offer a chance for creative angles that document real life minutes.
