This location was just a five minute drive from the Candelas neighborhood in Arvada. A quick trip on a lil windy road lead to this scenic mountain view. This family told me about this location and I plan on keeping it a secret just for you! This spot has incredible views as far as the eye can see, and possibly some wild flowers if we time it just right. It would be a great location for large family photos since limited space is not an issue. If you have kids that love to run around and need to burn some energy, this is an excellent spot for that all while I’m snapping away.

Candelas Neighborhood Park

Deep within the Candelas Arvada neighborhood is a teeny tiny park that has everything you’d want and need for a quick family session. Rolling hills, tall grassy, fun rocks to climb on, and even a rainbow if you’re lucky! This session works best for a fast mini session since this spot is so simple.

Open Space Arvada Park

Majestic View Park in Arvada is a very popular spot and is a banger! I’ve only done fall photos here and they turned out incredible. There isn’t a bad angle to shoot from at this park. There are still mountains in the distance, a ton of trees and even a little lake to walk down to. Kids have a great time being photographed here because there’s a park to bribe them with at the end of their session, haha. This spot is excellent for large family sessions, small lil families, and senior sessions. What’s your favorite spot in Arvada so far?
